Our Brussels-based House of Communication (labeled Great Place to Work) is looking for an Creative Operations Manager to join its team of around 120 employees.
Key Responsibilities
* Workflow Management: Develop and implement efficient and streamlined workflows to facilitate the smooth operation of the creative team. Coordinate project timelines, allocate resources, and monitor progress to ensure timely project delivery.
* Resource Allocation: Assess the creative team's workload and skill sets to assign appropriate resources to each project. Collaborate with client services team and stakeholders to balance workload and ensure optimal resource allocation. Identify external service providers, such as illustrators, photographers, and video production companies, who will be providing material for the campaign.
* Project Coordination: Serve as the main point of contact for all creative projects. Liaise with internal teams and external suppliers to gather project requirements, provide updates, and manage expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
* Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve existing processes to enhance team productivity, reduce inefficiencies, and maximize output quality. Identify areas for automation, implement tools, and develop best practices to streamline operations.
* Creative Reputation Activation: Actively contribute to enhancing our creative reputation by spearheading projects related to advertising, digital and media awards.
* Budget Management: Collaborate with finance and project management teams to develop and manage the creative department budget. Monitor timesheets, expenses, track project costs, and identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
* Team Development: Foster a collaborative and positive work environment that encourages creativity, growth, and innovation.
Qualifications and requirements
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
* 5+ years of experience in creative operations, project management, production, or agency operations, preferably within an advertising, digital, or integrated communications agency.
* Proven experience managing complex creative workflows, timelines, and multi-disciplinary teams in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong understanding of creative processes across advertising, digital, content, media, and production.
* Solid financial acumen, with experience in budget planning, cost tracking, timesheet monitoring, and identifying efficiencies without compromising creative quality.
* Hands-on experience with project management and workflow tools
* A collaborative leadership style, able to foster trust, structure, and motivation within creative teams.
* Interest in creativity, innovation, and the advertising industry, with a willingness to actively support award initiatives and creative reputation building.
* Fluency in French and Dutch with good knowledge of English.
