Do you have a passion for technology and are you willing to apply your expertise on generator maintenance on our ENGIE sites as well as our industrial clients sites, then this job is for you! We are currently looking for a Generator Expert (F/M/X) within the European Maintenance Services (EMS) organization. EMS in Engie is responsible for executing specialized maintenance activities in different powerplants in Belgium and Europe (mostly Netherlands and France). YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES as Generator Expert
* Technical Leadership: Identify and analyse incidents or non conformities during outages, conduct root cause analyses, and define corrective and preventive actions.
* Field Assessment: Perform on site machine condition assessments and mechanical and electrical measurements.
* Knowledge Development: Develop and consolidate all technical information and know how on generators within EMS by participating in internal and external networks and ensuring processes are adequately adapted.
* Knowledge Sharing and Training: Share your knowledge, coach team members, and determine appropriate training modules to maintain EMS's competencies in generators.
* Long Term Strategy: Develop a long term strategy for the maintenance of generators and their components per entity. Initiate and implement improvements based on technical financial analyses (business case) and assist in negotiating maintenance contracts.
