Telenet is a leading provider of wholesale connectivity services for telecom operators, ISPs, and service providers. As a Carrier Operations Specialist, you support the B2B Carrier & Wholesale team with a mix of customer facing, order handling, presales support, documentation, and internal coordination. You help translate customer needs into clear solutions, ensure smooth processing of incoming carrier orders and change requests, and contribute to improving workflows and documentation standards in line with ISO requirements.
You also play a role in preparing and co‑organizing our yearly Carrier Event.
Key Responsibilities
Operational & Administrative
1. Process incoming carrier orders and follow them through delivery.
2. Handle administrative change requests accurately and efficiently.
3. Assist in improving ordering workflows and documentation standards in line with ISO best practices.
4. Maintain internal documentation, templates, and commercial materials.
5. Support continuous improvements across processes, tools, and communication.
Commercial & Presales Support
6. Support the sales team with basic scoping of standard customer requests.
7. Prepare structured commercial proposals and customer-facing documentation.
8. Handle a limited set of presales activities (e.g., standard connectivity requests).
9. Collaborate with product, engineering, and operations teams.
Team & Event Support
10. Contribute to the preparation and co‑organization of the annual Carrier Event in collaboration with the B2B Brand Activation team.
Qualifications
11. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Telecom, ICT, Engineering, or a business-related field.
12. Interest in carrier connectivity, telecom solutions, and commercial processes.
13. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
14. Good communication skills in Dutch and English; French is a plus.
15. Ability to collaborate across teams and manage multiple tasks.
