Our client is undergoing a major digital transformation aimed at modernizing its business processes, information systems, and ways of working. As part of this transformation, it is seeking a Lead Enterprise Architect to ensure alignment between operational needs and technology solutions.
Key Responsibilities :
- Ensure alignment between business requirements and IT solutions.
- Design enterprise architectures and technical solutions.
- Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders.
- Translate business needs into functional and technical requirements.
- Provide pragmatic recommendations and solution proposals.
- Define and maintain architecture standards.
- Ensure proper documentation of solutions.
- Participate in the validation of project deliverables.
Tasks and Responsibilities :
- Define and implement the organization's digital transformation strategy.
- Develop and maintain an Enterprise Architecture framework.
- Establish architecture governance processes and committees.
- Build and maintain a multi-year digital transformation roadmap.
- Coordinate architecture activities across strategic programs and projects.
- Lead architecture boards and ensure consistency in decision-making.
- Contribute to a secure and coherent cloud strategy.
- Drive cybersecurity-related initiatives, including IAM, asset management, and NIS2 compliance.
- Support infrastructure transformation initiatives, including greenfield environments.
- Oversee application portfolio inventory and rationalization.
- Ensure consistency between legacy systems and new technology solutions.
- Coach architects and project teams.
- Provide strategic guidance and recommendations to senior management.
- Contribute to capability mapping and reference architecture development.
Education & Experience :
- Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in complex IT projects.
- Strong background in enterprise architecture and digital transformation.
- Experience within the public sector (ministries, European institutions, government organizations, etc.) is considered a strong asset.
Technical Skills :
- Strong knowledge of Enterprise Architecture principles and frameworks (TOGAF is a plus).
- Experience with modeling methodologies such as BPMN, UML, and ArchiMate.
- Good understanding of the software development lifecycle.
- Knowledge of microservices architecture and application integration.
- Experience with data management and infrastructure architecture.
