CERcuits is scaling its production of photonic and (micro)electronics’ circuits & packages and is looking for a Senior Quality Engineer to lead the development, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of our Quality Management System (QMS). This is a hands-on, execution-focused role: you'll be the person who turns quality intent into real processes, documentation, and audit-ready practices. You'll be doing the work directly, in close collaboration with the Head of Operations, who leads and owns the overall quality strategy and ISO 9001 roadmap. This role offers clear long-term growth potential and may evolve into a future Quality Manager position as the company expands its quality function. Key responsibilities Develop, implement, and maintain the company’s Quality Management System in line with ISO 9001 requirements. Prepare and maintain quality documentation, including procedures, work instructions, protocols, forms, and records. Plan and conduct internal audits, track findings, and verify the implementation and effectiveness of corrective actions. Work alongside the Head of Operations to prepare the company for ISO 9001 certification Manage non-conformances, root cause analysis, and corrective/preventive actions. Work closely with production to ensure quality processes are embedded in day-to-day activities. Support the standardization and continuous improvement of manufacturing processes. Monitor quality-related metrics and provide reporting to support decision-making. Help build a strong quality culture across the organization through structure, consistency, and practical execution. Profile / Requirements Degree in Industrial Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related technical field 2–5 years of experience in a quality role within a manufacturing environment, ideally electronics sector (EMS, PCB assembly, electronic components, or similar), semiconductor, automotive, aerospace or medical. Practical knowledge of ISO 9001 and quality management systems, or equivalent experience. Experience writing or maintaining quality documentation (procedures, work instructions, records) Experience with internal audits, non-conformance management, and corrective actions. (e.g. 8D reporting) Strong attention to detail, problem‑solving mindset and a practical, hands‑on attitude. Team player, able to work in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment. Good communication skills in Dutch and English (written and spoken) Nice to have Experience at a company that went through ISO 9001 certification Familiarity with IPC standards relevant to PCB and electronic assemblies (e.g. IPC‑A‑600, IPC‑A‑610) is a strong plus.
