About the role
Our client, a key leader in the beverage sector (Food & Beverage), is transforming its marketing organization to create an expertise hub dedicated to Shopper Marketing.
In this creation context, we are looking for a Shopper Marketing Manager to lead this new team and develop an innovative and impactful shopper strategy for Belgium and the Netherlands.
Strategy and Vision
You will be the driving force behind the shopper strategy for all brands. Your mission will be to transform the current approach, moving from an executing model to a true strategic expertise center.
5. Define the long-term shopper marketing vision and strategy, in close collaboration with the Marketing and Category Management teams.
6. Lead the Retail Media strategy, clarifying roles and developing a coherent approach to maximize impact and return on investment.
7. Co-build "trade stories" with Category Management to equip the sales force with compelling and channel-differentiated client plans.
8. Analyze activation performance (ROI) to continuously optimize investments and future strategies.
Leadership and Team Development
As a manager, you will have the exciting responsibility of managing your team ( people). You will play a key role in developing your collaborators to make them recognized experts.
9. Lead and inspire a team of shopper specialists, which will be organized by channel (Retail/Home and Out-of-Home).
10. Provide coaching and skill development for your team to ensure continuous growth in expertise.
11. Act as a protective and structuring leader, framing requests and helping your team prioritize tasks effectively.
12. Foster fluid cross-functional collaboration with other departments, particularly Sales and Marketing, positioning yourself as the central point of contact for all shopper expertise.
About the ideal candidate
You hold a Master's degree and have solid experience in Shopper or Trade Marketing, ideally acquired in the FMCG sector.
You have successful first-hand experience in people management and a passion for developing and coaching your teams.
You are a strategic leader capable of building a vision, but you maintain a "hands-on" mentality to support its implementation.
You are assertive and structured, capable of defending your strategies, saying no when necessary, and managing complex projects with complete autonomy.
You have strong analytical skills and are results-oriented, with an obsession for measuring return on investment (ROI) to optimize actions.
You have excellent knowledge of retail media and the dynamics of modern distribution channels (Retail and Out-of-Home).
