We are seeking an experienced and detail‐oriented Operations Support Contractor to assist with the coordination and administration of external research activities, including Investigator‐Initiated Studies (IIS) and Research Collaborations. This role supports compliant, efficient processes and smooth execution across internal and external stakeholders.
About the Role
The role provides operational, administrative, and workflow support to an external research function within a global medical/clinical environment. Responsibilities include managing request intake, supporting review processes, maintaining documentation, and coordinating contracting and financial follow‐up activities. This position suits someone with strong organisational skills and experience in matrixed environments.
Key Responsibilities
* Serve as an operational point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.
* Manage request intake, documentation checks, and routing through established review workflows.
* Maintain accurate records, trackers, and repositories for research requests.
* Support contracting activities by coordinating inputs and tracking approvals.
* Assist with payments, reconciliations, close‐out steps, and audit‐ready documentation.
* Prepare operational summaries, dashboards, and status reports.
* Contribute to procedural updates, process improvements, and system enhancements.
* Provide general administrative and project support across the external research function.
Profile & Experience
Required:
* Experience in operational, administrative, or coordination roles (ideally in medical, research, or regulated environments).
* Strong organisation, prioritisation, and attention to detail.
* Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to work effectively in a matrix environment with multiple stakeholders.
* Proactive, reliable, and adaptable; able to learn new systems quickly.
Preferred:
* Experience supporting external research, IIS, or research collaborations.
* Familiarity with workflow tools, document management systems, or regulated environments.
