Jan De Nul Group offers specialized services for dredging, offshore, civil and environmental works. The design and engineering department produces design calculations and engineering solutions for all JDN projects from tender to execution phase.
Responsibilities
* You prepare designs for civil structures such as bridges, tunnels, quay walls, and wastewater treatment plants.
* You are responsible for the design and stability calculations within your assigned projects.
* You provide input to the CAD-BIM designers, supervise and review construction drawings.
* You work in a team with senior design engineers, project leaders, CAD-BIM designers, the tender team, or site team.
* You give support and advice to the Operations team in case of technical problems on site.
What you need to have
* Master\'s degree in Civil Engineering.
* You work accurately and have analytical skills.
* You can translate theoretical knowledge into a pragmatic approach to achieve technically sound, economical, and implementation-oriented designs.
* Opportunities to further develop expertise by attending courses, study days, etc.
* Based in our offices in Aalst/Hofstade.
