Corporate tax is a globally connected tax compliance and advisory practice. It heads a unique combination of specialty tax service offerings. This enables us to provide insightful, multi-country tax compliance and advisory services in a connected and consistent manner throughout every stage of the tax life cycle: planning, accounting, compliance, and controversy.
Our Corporate Tax department consists of the following families:
1. EY Private, supporting entrepreneurs, private businesses, and their owners with tax advisory services;
2. Global Compliance & Reporting, assisting (international) companies with their compliance obligations and tax controversy
3. International Tax Services, advising on international tax aspects
We are looking for Consultants within all 3 families for our offices in Diegem, Antwerp, Ghent, Hasselt, and Liège.
Your key responsibilities
As a Corporate Tax Consultant, you will help businesses meet complex demands for tax reporting, compliance, planning and tax controversy for national and international organizations. As a Corporate Tax Consultant, we support you to grow in the following tasks:
4. You advise companies on their choices and on their tax strategy development on a national and international level.
5. You help companies dealing with tax procedures by preparing tax declarations, assisting them during tax audits, following up disputes/discussions with tax authorities, preparing and handing in rulings.
6. You will stay up to date regarding market changes and develop a broader knowledge around your client portfolio.
7. You maintain long-term collaborative and profitable relationships with the client.
8. You proactively communicate and collaborate with your colleagues.
9. You will be based in one of our offices: Diegem, Antwerp, Ghent, Hasselt, Bruges, or Liège
What we look for
10. You will obtain a Bachelor degree in Accounting, Tax and/or Finance / Master degree in (preferably Tax) Law / Applied Economics / Commercial Engineering / Commercial Science or a Postgraduate in Tax.
11. You have good verbal and written skills in Dutch/French and English.
12. You are client and market focused with a hands-on attitude.
13. You are curious, innovative and a good team player.
