Insurance Policy TechnicianAs a highly skilled policy technician, you will play a crucial role in our organization's success. Your primary responsibility will be to create and maintain insurance policies for our European clients and brokers. This involves reviewing underwriting instructions, creating new and renewal policies, and analyzing technical data.About the Role:This is a hands-on position that requires strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills. You will work closely with our underwriting teams to ensure that policies are issued efficiently and accurately. In addition to policy creation, you will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records, managing correspondence, and providing exceptional customer service to our clients and brokers.Your Key Responsibilities:Create new and renewal insurance policies within our technical policy system.Review and initiate policy endorsements and certificates.Analyze technical data and calculate technical transactions, including limits, premiums, and deductions.Manage accurate and careful maintenance of policy documentation and correspondence onto our e-filing platform.Provide professional email correspondence and attend meetings with brokers as required.About You:We are seeking an experienced policy technician who can bring their expertise to our team. To be successful in this role, you should have a solid understanding of insurance policy coverage and limits, premium calculations, and pro-rata calculations for time on risk.
