For one of our clients we are looking for a Solution Architect Digital Platform with 8+ years of experience in solution design and software architecture and experience in the energy sector.

Languages: French fluent, English and Dutch B2 (nice to have)

As a Solution Architect, you will be responsible for the design, governance, and evolution of the company's key application solutions. Your role will be to ensure the alignment of systems with the business strategy, integrating best practices in architecture, performance, security, and sustainability. You will cover a diverse technology portfolio including websites, APIs, the M365 platform, and Salesforce. You will work closely with Product Owners, Enterprise Architecture, Project Managers, and Application Managers to ensure that our solutions truly meet the expectations and needs of our customers and employees.
Your Knowledge, Experience and certifications
Relevant experience in solution design and software architecture (8+ years)
Cloud Computing (ideally Azure or AWS)
Experience with web ecosystems (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, frameworks) and API technologies (REST, GraphQL, Gateways)
Experience with software architecture principles: Microservices, SOA, Event‑Oriented Architectures (EDA)
Experience in cybersecurity
Experience in green IT
Experience in AI
Experience in the energy sector in Belgium (3+ years)
Relevant experience in a Digital Platform and/or web services environment
Practical experience with the Salesforce platform (integration concepts, data model)
Proven experience with the Microsoft 365 suite, particularly Teams and SharePoint (2019 and Online)
French C2 (must have), English and Dutch B2 (nice to have)
What you will do
Design and model robust, scalable, and high‑performance solution architectures for new projects and evolutions of existing systems.
Ensure technical governance by defining architectural standards, patterns, and principles for the entire application landscape.
Lead the selection of technologies (products, frameworks) based on functional needs and technical and budgetary constraints.
Document the architecture (logical, physical, and deployment views) and communicate architectural decisions to the development teams.
For Websites (Internal & External) & APIs: define the architecture of content management systems (CMS) and web portals; design the API architecture to ensure interoperability and secure data exchange between internal and external systems.
For the Microsoft 365 (M365) Platform: serve as the architecture expert for Microsoft Teams, SharePoint 2019, and SharePoint Online; define the structure, customization, and deployment/governance strategy of the collaborative platform.
For Salesforce: understand the Salesforce platform architecture and ensure that solutions and integrations are aligned with best practices (e.g., use of cloud‑native tools).
