Position Overview
We are looking for a motivated and technical-minded Mid-level Construction Engineer to join our team. This role is pivotal in providing multidisciplinary technical support to our operational unit. As a key knowledge holder, you will bridge the gap between technical requirements and operational execution, ensuring our installations run efficiently, safely, and sustainably. You will work closely with management and field operators to drive process optimization, manage technical documentation, and lead specific project implementations.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Expertise & Knowledge Management
* Act as a Primary Knowledge Holder: Provide expert technical advice to both internal and external stakeholders to ensure the efficient operation of the cell.
* Documentation Stewardship: Maintain and update existing technical knowledge, safeguard undocumented processes, and manage technical specifications.
* Process Documentation: Draft and manage internal documents, including permit applications, Implementation Plans (IPAs), Management of Change (MOC) documentation, and action plans.
Operational Optimization & Project Leadership
* Process Improvement: Identify improvement opportunities and requirements; devise and develop scenarios to optimize cell operations.
* Project Management: Lead or contribute to projects aimed at modifying existing installations (e.g., ventilation, containment, and building infrastructure).
* Performance Monitoring: Achieve and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), report progress to the cell hierarchy, and keep all relevant stakeholders informed.
* Operational Planning: Provide actionable input for operational planning and strategy.
Coordination & Compliance
* Collaboration: Form a strong tandem with the manager and team leaders; consult with various parties to develop ideas and solutions.
* Quality & Safety Assurance: Oversee the quality of work performed, maintain safety reports, and ensure compliance with safety regulations, procedures, and instructions.
* Problem Solving: Proactively identify, analyze, and frame technical problems; collaborate with support services to implement robust, preventative solutions.
Candidate Profile
Education & Experience
* Degree: Educational background in Construction Engineering or a related technical field.
* Experience: Professional experience in a similar role within the last 1–3 years.
Technical Skills
* Project Management: Expert knowledge and proven ability to manage complex projects.
* Safety & Compliance: Expert understanding of safety regulations, procedures, instructions, and permit application processes.
* Engineering Proficiency: Intermediate knowledge of Civil Engineering and Prefabrication techniques.
* Technical Knowledge: Advanced technical aptitude, with specific knowledge of concrete structures preferred.
* Nuclear/Specialized Knowledge (Nice to have): Prior experience or knowledge regarding conventional and nuclear safety standards and nuclear techniques.
