Initially established as a small blacksmith and steel processing business, it has since evolved into a prominent player in the steel construction industry. Over time, the company has built a strong reputation for designing, manufacturing, delivering, and assembling large, technically demanding steel structures. It handles complex projects across three main sectors: Offshore Wind, Offshore Oil and Gas, and Civil and Industrial Construction.
The industrial site in Arendonk spans around 8 hectares and includes a production hall of 50,000 m². The facility is optimized for efficient internal logistics, making it well-suited for handling large, heavy components, with lifting capabilities of up to 105 tons. The blasting booth is equipped for both manual and robotic blasting. Additionally, the company operates several automated blasting machines and a spray hall measuring 7,200 m².
A key strength of the company is its large in-house engineering department, where skilled engineers manage the design and calculation of components in line with strict quality standards. The team includes highly qualified structural engineers and draftsmen, who collaborate across multiple sites. With extensive experience and knowledge, they ensure a high level of efficiency by incorporating practical execution and considering logistical constraints from the early stages of each project.
Functieomschrijving
As a QC Inspector Mechanical Completion you will:
Coordinate and ensure the timely mechanical completion of all electrical and mechanical systems within complex industrial projects.
Actively manage subcontractors, closely monitor their progress, and ensure strict adherence to planning, quality standards, and deadlines.
Collect, review, and maintain all quality assurance, testing, and handover documentation in line with project and compliance requirements.
Act as the key interface between construction and commissioning teams, ensuring a smooth transition with no delays or outstanding punch items.
Follow up closely on subcontractor performance, ensuring progress, quality, and deadlines are consistently met.
Monitor and manage project documentation with precision, ensuring mechanical systems are delivered, verified, and fully ready for handover.
Functie-eisen
Experience in mechanical completion within construction and/or commissioning environments.
A hands-on mindset with the ability to take ownership, push progress, and confidently drive responsibilities forward.
Strong communication skills, enabling effective coordination with multiple stakeholders and project parties.
High attention to detail, particularly in quality control, documentation, and compliance processes.
A bachelor or master degree.
Fluent in Englisch, Dutch is a plus.
