Position Overview
Are you passionate about driving sustainable, profitable revenue growth across dynamic markets? We're seeking a strategic, analytical, and results-oriented Revenue Growth Manager (RGM) for the EMEA region. Based in Ostend, you’ll have the opportunity to lead innovative revenue and growth initiatives—particularly in the FMCG sector—working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful results across Benelux, Italy, and South Africa. Experience in pricing strategy and key account management will be key to success in this role, enabling you to effectively shape commercial approaches and collaborate with key partners.
What You’ll Do
* Revenue Growth & Market Share: Lead the development and implementation of strategies to deliver revenue, gross margin, and market share targets. Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Commercial Finance, and Supply Chain teams to create and execute comprehensive strategies aligned with business objectives. Leverage experience in key account management to strengthen commercial partnerships and customer-specific growth plans.
* Data Analysis & Insights: Monitor and analyze sales data, market trends, customer insights, and competitive landscapes—especially within FMCG channels—to identify growth opportunities. Provide actionable insights that support revenue growth and profit enhancement.
* RGM Reviews & Enablers: Organize and lead RGM reviews, delivering analytics that optimize revenue growth. Key tasks include:
* Optimizing distribution and increasing sales of "green" SKUs.
* Shifting product mix towards higher-margin, higher-sales products.
* Implementing hurdle rates to segment the portfolio.
* Strengthening the performance of new product launches.
* Driving improved promotional effectiveness.
* Building pricing ladders across channels, understanding SKU elasticity, and minimizing cannibalization.
* Your strong background in pricing strategy will be critical in evaluating and adjusting these pricing approaches.
* Pricing & Trade Spend: Develop and implement pricing strategies that maximize profitability while remaining competitive. Regularly assess pricing models based on market changes and customer feedback. Analyze product volume, margins, and competitor prices to provide trade spend recommendations that reflect real FMCG dynamics.
* Product Portfolio Expansion: Work closely with Customer and Brand Marketing teams to identify areas for portfolio expansion or enhancement. Develop strategies to launch new products, enter new markets, and upsell/cross-sell to existing customers.
* Sales Enablement: Collaborate with the Sales team to provide the necessary tools, resources, and training to effectively communicate the value of our products. Ensure that marketing initiatives and sales strategies are aligned to support growth objectives.
* New Product & Existing SKU Performance: Participate in the Product Review Committee (PCP) to optimize profitability for both new and existing SKUs, particularly "green" and "yellow" products.
* KPIs & Performance Tracking: Develop and track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) anchored to market strategies, such as sales distribution, profitability, ROI, and pricing compliance.
* Global Alignment & Best Practices: As a member of the global RGM cockpit, ensure alignment on global RGM methodologies, governance, and share best practices within the global team.
* Regional Awareness & Training: Collaborate with People & Culture teams to raise regional awareness of RGM, including developing functional descriptions, G&O communications, and an induction process.
What We’re Looking For
* Master’s degree in Business, Commerce, or a similar field, or significant relevant industry experience.
* Minimum 3+ years of experience in the FMCG industry, retail, or pharmaceutical industries, preferably in revenue management, business development, or related sales management roles.
* Hands-on experience in developing and implementing pricing strategies in dynamic markets.
* Demonstrated success in key account management, with a strong ability to influence customer-specific commercial strategies.
* Proven high-level analytical skills, with the ability to quickly interpret complex data and translate it into actionable strategies.
* High-level skills in Excel, and experience with CRM and ERP software. Experience using market analytics tools such as IQVIA, IRI, and/or Nielsen.
* Understanding of shopper preferences, shopper activation, and category management.
* Demonstrated ability to manage stakeholders and influence internal and external partners at all levels, with varied backgrounds and expertise.
* Strong commercial sense and the ability to identify and capitalize on opportunities in a fast-moving and complex business environment.
* Ability to work autonomously while also being an effective member of a team to meet targets and deadlines.
* A strong focus on achieving business objectives, ensuring alignment between marketing, sales, and growth initiatives.
