If you#39;re ready to break boundaries, deliver results, and enjoy the ride along the way, you#39;ll thrive here. /p br /pWe are looking for a strongProcess Engineer – Sintered Metal (Powder Metallurgy) /strong to join our Sintered Metal Production team in a highly hands-on, shopfloor-focused role. /ppThis is not a generic engineering position. The value of this role lies in the ability to understand and control the full powder metallurgy system in real production conditions. You will operate at the intersection of strongpowder behavior, tooling design, and press machine performance /strong, ensuring stable, efficient, and high-quality manufacturing. /ppSuccess in this role requires strong system thinking across the full chain: /ppstrongPowder → Machine → Tool → Process → Quality /strong /ppAny variation in one element impacts the others. You will be responsible for managing these interactions, solving problems in real time, and continuously improving process robustness, tooling performance, and production stability. /ph2strongKEY RESPONSIBILITIES /strong /h2strong1. First-Line Technical Support (Shopfloor Execution) /strongulliAct as the immediate technical escalation point during production /liliDiagnose and resolve in real time:ulliPart weight and density deviations /liliCracks, lamination, and compaction defects /liliPowder filling and flow inconsistencies /liliAbnormal press forces and machine behavior /li /ul /liliMinimize scrap, downtime, and tooling damage through fast, accurate intervention /liliApply deep process understanding rather than purely theoretical analysis /li /ulstrong2. Powder Metallurgy Process Expertise /strongulliAnalyze powder flow behavior and batch variability /liliUnderstand cavity filling dynamics, especially for complex geometries /liliEvaluate density gradients and their impact on part performance /liliIdentify how powder characteristics influence defects and tool wear /li /ulstrong3. Tooling Press System Interaction /strongulliDevelop strong understanding of tooling design for compaction processes /liliEvaluate interactions between:ulliPowder flow /liliPress forces /liliMachine dynamics /li /ul /liliIdentify root causes of tooling-related issues such as wear, cracks, and misalignment /liliReview, challenge, and validate tooling designs /liliPropose technical improvements based on structured failure analysis /li /ulstrong4.
