Role summary
The GNSS / Signal Processing Engineer contributes to the design, development, testing, and validation of Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) technologies. The role focuses on GNSS algorithm development, multi-GNSS data analysis, simulation support, and system performance evaluation. In addition, the engineer provides technical support to the Product Owner of the Stella GNSS simulator, participates in customer deliveries, and supports GNSS-related projects across the
organization. The position requires strong analytical skills, digital signal process expertise, and
close collaboration with system engineering and customer-facing teams.
Key Responsibilities
1. GNSS Algorithm Development & Data Processing
* Design, develop, and optimize GNSS positioning algorithms
* Implement models involving satellite geometry, atmospheric delays, multipath, and
measurement errors
* Apply advanced stochastic modelling and filtering techniques to improve robustness and
accuracy
* Process multi-GNSS datasets (GPS, Galileo, GLONASS, BeiDou) for validation and
performance assessment
2. Support to Product Management and Customer Deliveries
* Assist the Product Owner in defining simulation product features, validating releases, and
supporting roadmap decisions
* Contribute to documentation, test plans, and performance reports for simulator releases
* Provide technical expertise for the integration of new GNSS models into the simulation
environment
* Provide recommendations in feasibility studies, customer application domains and
commercial offerings.
* Provide assistance to the product owner in after sales support
3. Contribution to GNSS-Integrated Projects and performance evaluation
* Collaborate with project teams on solutions integrating GNSS with other sensors or
technologies (e.g., IMU/INS fusion, atmospheric modelling, remote sensing)
* Support feasibility studies, simulations, and performance evaluations for project
stakeholders
* Assess positioning performance in various operational scenarios (urban multipath,
dynamic motion, degraded environments)
Education & Experience
* Master in GNSS, Signal Processing, Radionavigation or related field
* 5-10 years experience as GNSS or Signal Processing Engineer
* Fluent un English & French
Required Technical Skills
* Solid knowledge of digital signal processing and GNSS domain
* Strong experience in multi-GNSS analysis, atmospheric modelling (e.g., troposphere), and
stochastic modelling
* Programming proficiency in MATLAB, programming in C++ and Python
* Experience with filtering techniques (Kalman, extended/unscented filters, stochastic
modelling)
* Familiarity with GNSS tools and geospatial software is a plus
* Ability to analyze and visualize large datasets
