About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead our warehouse team and drive operational excellence.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics, warehousing, or distribution, with at least 7 years of experience in a similar role.
Key responsibilities will include:
* Ensuring daily/shift distribution and light manufacturing activities are executed and accountable for performance shortfalls – develop corrective action plans when performance falls below target.
* Manages performance continually; develops associates by providing training and coaching.
* Supervises and develops staff and otherwise carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with policies and applicable laws.
* Maintains a safe work environment and fosters a positive team dynamic, resolving employee relations issues and administering corrective action as required.
What We're Looking For
The successful candidate will be a strong leadership figure who can translate operational KPIs into efficient working methods on the floor and ensure their safeguarding.
They will also be able to form and motivate a team to work together towards a goal, adapt to different situations and colleagues, and change their approach if necessary.
In addition, the ideal candidate will be fluent in preparing reports in Excel, handling a warehouse management system, and working with MS Office applications.
