For our customer Plastiflex, with global headquarter in Paal-Beringen, we are looking for a Financial Controller (m/f/x).
Plastiflex is manufacturer of applications for air and fluid management for healthcare and industrial products. Operating across 12 international plants, Plastiflex generates an annual revenue of €175 million and employs 1,500 people globally. Driven by acquisitions and international expansion, the company aims to strengthen its finance team with a talented and motivated Financial Controller.
The role of Financial Controller has been refined to focus on tasks across global financial reporting, operational support, and strategic projects.
Key responsibilities include:
* Financial Reporting & Analysis:
o Prepare timely and accurate financial reports and analyses.
o Work closely with local finance teams to consolidate and validate results.
* Compliance & Closing Activities:
o Support month-end closures while ensuring compliance with IFRS standards.
o Deliver shareholder reporting with BE GAAP-to-IFRS conversion.
* Corporate Finance Projects:
o Coordinate tasks across tax management, consolidation, transfer pricing policies, and corporate procedures globally.
* Plant Control & Operational Support:
o Guide and support plant controllers to enhance financial processes and improve operational efficiency.
o Audit transfer pricing and ensure adherence to international compliance standards.
* Ad Hoc Projects:
o Align global reporting tools and processes to streamline operations across 15 entities.
o Adapt, test, implement, and follow up on internal process improvements within ERP systems and other financial tools.
The controller will also provide material cost analysis, manage monthly calls reviewing logic and accuracy, and offer on-site support as required-particularly in regions like the U.S. and Turkey.
The requested qualifications for this job include:
Plastiflex is looking for a dynamic, hands-on individual with excellent analytical and interpersonal skills.
Key qualifications include:
* Education: A Master's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
* Experience: 4-5 years of experience in audit (Big Four experience preferred). Experience in consolidation, IFRS, and manufacturing-related complexity is essential.
* Skills:
o Advanced proficiency in Excel and familiarity with ERP/reporting systems (Power BI experience is a plus).
o Strong analytical mindset, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work under deadlines.
o A proactive and communicative approach, particularly in multicultural settings.
