We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team at SII Group Belgium. You would join various teams working for projects in Aeronautic, Space & Defense.

Key Responsibilities
* Developing and detailing of concepts by hand calculations and/or FEM;
* Designing and developing and further developing existing systems; such as brake systems, steering systems, hydraulics, pneumatics and suspension;
* Proposing and generating design substantiation (analyses and/or complex test setups);
* Reporting of compliance demonstration in English;
* Contact with suppliers.
Qualification:
* You have a master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive- or Aviation/Aerospace design or similar technical expertise;
* Strong knowledge of mechanical parts and computer-aided design
* Experience with CAD, FMEA, strength calculations and FEM;
* Excellent SOLIDWORKS, SIEMENS NX or CATIA skills;
* Experience in compliance demonstration and/or certification is preferred.
* Communication skills in English, ideally in French.
