Contract type: USP: Take ownership of cash management, credit control and internal controls in a team of 3, including hierarchical people management
As Finance Controlling Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the finance team, ensuring optimised cash management, robust balance sheet reporting, reliable master data and a strong internal control framework. You will lead a team of 3 and act as a key owner across credit management, cash forecasting, accounting controls and reporting.
Analyse customer financial statements, risk profiles, exposure and credit ratings to identify and mitigate emerging credit risks
Drive cash-in/cash-out analysis, working capital initiatives, DSO/DPO improvement and cash collection targets across the Benelux region
Oversee monthly cash reporting, banking reconciliations, cash positioning and banking partner relationships
Champion master data governance, internal controls, reconciliations, audit support, KPI reporting and process improvements
A pivotal finance role with direct impact on liquidity, risk management and control discipline
A permanent position in Brussels with 3 homeworking days
Team leadership responsibility for 3 finance professionals, with exposure to both junior and senior profiles
Broad cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Accounting, FP&A and banking partners
Proven experience in external audit, financial controlling or treasury. A degree in Finance or Accounting is a strong plus
Proven experience managing a team
Strong background in cash forecasting, working capital management and credit analysis
Advanced Excel skills, with experience using ERP systems, financial reporting tools and banking/cash management platforms
Excellent communication in English and Dutch/French, including presenting to senior management and working across functions
