A food manufacturing site in the Antwerp region is looking for a Mechanical Maintenance Lead to strengthen its maintenance team and improve reliability across production equipment. The role is focused on hands-on mechanical maintenance, while also supporting the structuring of maintenance processes and improving spare parts availability through supplier coordination .
Role ResponsibilitiesMechanical MaintenanceCarry out preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipmentTroubleshoot mechanical issues across conveyors, shredders, mills and transport systemsWork on motors, gearboxes and general mechanical componentsSpare Parts & Vendor SupportSupport sourcing of suppliers for mechanical components (for short notice delivery)Liaise with suppliers to ensure correct parts and delivery timelinesProcess & DocumentationFinalise the procedures and processes for existing maintenance activities and workflowsSupport improvements in maintenance planning and organisation
RequirementsExperience in mechanical maintenance within industrial or production environmentsStrong hands-on knowledge of:-Electric motors and gearboxes-Shredders and milling equipment-Conveying and transport systemsExperience supporting spare parts management and supplier coordinationDutch and English required, French strong additionMust live in Belgium
