As a Transport Planner your responsibilities are:
* Lead and motivate drivers, ensuring adherence to operational standards
* Process transport orders and coordinate loading/unloading logistics
* Create and adjust daily transport schedules for optimal fleet usage
* Monitor vehicle availability and collaborate with planning leads
* Analyse tracking data and report operational insights
* Align customer needs with available transport resources
* Handle administrative tasks and support cross-functional teams
* Resolve daily operational issues and maintain driver communication
* Report to planning leadership on progress, issues, and feedback
Jouw profiel
A successful Transport Planner should have:
* A relevant educational background in logistics or supply chain management.
* Fluent in Dutch with strong proficiency in English and French
* At least 3 years of experience in transport planning or a similar role within the logistics sector.
* Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
* Proficiency in transport management systems and related software.
* Knowledge of transport regulations and industry standards.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* The ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
