You will join a public-sector IT organization undergoing continuous digital transformation, supporting business-critical applications used by a wide range of stakeholders. To strengthen the quality assurance capability, two junior testers are being added to an existing Agile delivery team. The focus of the role is hands-on functional testing, defect management, and close collaboration with functional, business, and development teams.
Key Responsibilities
* Design, prepare, and execute manual functional test cases based on functional and non-functional requirements
* Perform regression and exploratory testing across business applications
* Analyze test results, identify defects, and document issues clearly and accurately
* Register, classify, and follow up defects until resolution in collaboration with development teams
* Validate fixes and communicate test outcomes to functional and business stakeholders
* Contribute to test planning, reporting, and continuous improvement of testing practices
* Work within Agile delivery teams and participate in relevant ceremonies
What are we looking for?
* You have a first initial professional experience in
manual functional software testing
* You have hands-on experience writing and executing test cases based on requirements
* You have experience with
test management and defect tracking tools
(e.g.
XQual, Mantis or similar)
* You have a solid understanding of Agile principles (Scrum, Kanban)
* You are comfortable documenting defects, test results, and test evidence clearly
* You bring a structured, detail-oriented approach to testing and quality assurance
* You are fluent in
French (native level)
Nice to Have
* Experience with test automation tools (e.g. Agilitest)
* Basic understanding of CI/CD or test environments (e.g. GitLab, Docker)
* Familiarity with SQL for basic data validation
* Exposure to testing in a public-sector or large enterprise environment
* Experience validating APIs or integrations (e.g. ReadyAPI or similar tools)
