Senior solution architect – integration & hybrid cloud

We are looking for a Senior Solution Architect to take a leading role in shaping and evolving enterprise integration and hybrid cloud capabilities within a complex IT landscape.
In this role, you will define and own the target architecture across integration platforms (IIB, ACE, MQ) and hybrid infrastructure, bridging on‑premise environments with private cloud solutions. You will drive the evolution of the current data center toward a scalable, automated, and future‑ready hybrid cloud model.
You will lead a team of around 10 engineers and act as a technical authority, ensuring alignment between architecture, business needs, and delivery execution. Together with the Scrum Master, Product Owner, and Project Manager, you will guide solution design, prioritization, and implementation across multiple initiatives.
A key focus will be the migration from IIB v9 to ACE v12, as well as the establishment of reusable architectural patterns, infrastructure standards, and automation frameworks. You will also play a central role in defining workload distribution strategies across environments and enabling Infrastructure‑as‑Code and containerization practices.
Beyond architecture, you will act as a coach and mentor, supporting engineering teams in best practices, integration design, and quality delivery. You will ensure strong governance through architecture reviews, documentation standards, and continuous improvement initiatives.
You will also contribute hands‑on when needed, particularly in complex design or development phases, ensuring quality and consistency across solutions.

Strong experience in enterprise integration architecture
Expertise with IBM technologies (IIB, ACE, MQ)
Strong Java, REST API, and object‑oriented development background
Experience with hybrid and private cloud environments
Knowledge of Infrastructure‑as‑Code, automation, and containerization
Solid understanding of networking, security, and identity in hybrid setups
Experience with Agile delivery and CI/CD practices
Ability to coach, lead, and align technical teams
Structured, proactive, and solution‑driven mindset
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
Languages Dutch, French, and English required
