Freelance Project: Solution Architect – B2B Architecture

Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Solution Architect to join a B2B architecture team and design complex application architectures. You will ensure seamless integration across systems and contribute to long-term modernization strategies.
Key Responsibilities
Design solution architectures for complex systems with multiple applications and integrations
Work on multiple B2B initiatives, often related to the CSS layer
Conduct high-level impact assessments and create solution designs
Align with stakeholders to ensure architecture meets business needs
Prepare architectural alternatives, analyze requirements, and define transformation plans
Provide cost and feasibility analysis for proposed solutions
Contribute to application modernization and rationalization strategies
Enforce architectural guardrails to maintain a sustainable application landscape
Promote enterprise architecture principles across the organization
Profile & Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in a technical field
Minimum 5 years of experience in a solution architect role within complex environments
Ability to design architectural alternatives and work independently
Strong communication skills to engage business stakeholders and present solutions effectively
Ability to adapt to change and deliver in a fast-paced environment
Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle
Nice-to-have:
Experience with large, complex application landscapes
Familiarity with Confluence and LeanIX for documentation
Knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks
Telecom industry experience
Collaboration experience with offshore teams
