As a GL Accountant your responsibilities are:
* Manage general ledger accounts and ensure accurate financial reporting.
* Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
* Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
* Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
* Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
* Collaborate with internal and external auditors during audits.
* Support the Accounting & Finance team with ad hoc financial analyses.
* Contribute to process improvements within the accounting function.
A successful GL Accountant should have:
* A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
* Experience in general ledger accounting, preferably within the Industrial / Manufacturing sector.
* Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, especially Excel.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
* Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
* Knowledge of accounting standards and regulations.
