Your responsibilities
As a Team Leader, your responsibilities will include:
Manage and mentor the team by providing guidance, support in daily tasks and providing training as needed.
Prioritize the team's weekly tasks.
Identify areas for improvement in service quality (mail, telephony, complaint management, etc.)
Bring a "customer-oriented" attitude to the team by identifying the needs/expectations of customers/brokers and tailoring the service accordingly.
Ensure the performance and productivity of the team by translating the department's objectives into clear objectives.
Ensure the development of people through regular individual interviews, coaching and process performance evaluation with the support of your manager.
Lead information meetings or projects.
Create a positive and nurturing environment where your team members can thrive and continue to develop their abilities.
Create the team's strategy with the Life Retail manager.
Manage the budget allocated to the department.
Analyse potential customer complaints and propose appropriate solutions.
Your profile
You have at least a bachelor's degree, preferably in insurance or economics.
You are a true expert in life insurance and have a thorough understanding of life insurance operations.
You have at least 5 years of experience in the life insurance sector.
You have a strong leadership background in instilling trust in the team and delivering results through a collaborative, performance-driven culture.
You have an excellent knowledge of French or Dutch and a very good command of the other national language.
You have a good knowledge of the Office suite and in particular Excel and PowerPoint.
Knowledge of lean management is an asset.
You are rigorous, organized and able to manage your priorities while meeting tight deadlines.
You have communication skills and are able to manage internal and external stakeholders.
You have coaching skills and adopt a participatory leadership style.
You are able to work and learn quickly and sustainably in a fast-paced environment.
You are dynamic, positive and open-minded.
