The Assignment:
As a Process Assistant, you will become a vital part of the Lab Operations & Coordinatio team, assisting the PRGG in optimizing processes and eventually upscaling Si photonics heterogeneous integration technology. Your focus will be on advancing micro transfer printing technology and preparing it for wafer-scale manufacturing.
You will work closely with your colleagues to optimize the entire process flow, with a particular focus on scalability. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience and actively contribute to the development of cutting-edge technologies in photonics research.
Key Responsibilities:
Support and assist in the optimization of semiconductor and nanotechnology processes, with a focus on micro transfer printing.
Track process data and document any anomalies or deviations using digital logging systems (SPC tools).
Work closely with engineers and team members to meet weekly research targets.
Provide valuable feedback on potential process improvements or tool-related issues.
Engage with high-end processing tools and participate in various process steps in a cleanroom environment.

A hands-on mindset with a passion for process development and semiconductor/nanotechnology.
Familiarity with semiconductor processing and the ability to work with advanced tools in a cleanroom setting.
Ability to track and report data, anomalies, and process deviations accurately.
Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with engineers and other team members to achieve project milestones.
Ability to identify process bottlenecks and provide insights on potential optimizations.
