About the Role
We are seeking a mid-level Full-stack Developer (.NET / Angular) to join our client's product team on a freelance basis for a 24-month project in Melle. This is your opportunity to shape the digital experience for thousands of end users by building and enhancing a central customer web portal. You'll work at the intersection of technology and impact, collaborating with a team of passionate builders to deliver solutions that matter.

Key Responsibilities
* Design, develop, and support web applications using .NET and Angular frameworks
* Collaborate on functional and technical solution design within a product team
* Translate business problems into robust, scalable technical solutions
* Write and maintain unit tests, ensuring code quality and reliability
* Document development work and analyses for knowledge sharing
* Adhere to best practices and internal IT standards
* Contribute to knowledge transfer and support fellow developers
* Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including service desk, project managers, and infrastructure teams
* Participate in estimation, planning, and execution of development activities
* Apply change and release management processes, including executing and monitoring releases
* Evaluate technical feasibility of new requests and enhancements
* Engage in both project-based enhancements (approx. two-thirds) and maintenance/incident operations (approx. one-third)
Technical Skills & Experience
* Minimum 3 years' experience developing .NET-based applications (C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core)
* At least 2 years' experience with Angular 2 or higher
* Hands-on experience with Azure (API Management, Service Fabric, App Services, Azure Service Bus)
* Proficiency in HTML and CSS for modern web development
* Experience with ORM frameworks, especially Entity Framework
* Strong knowledge of relational databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL)
* Unit testing expertise (nUnit, xUnit, or Windsor Castle)
* Experience with Atlassian Jira and Confluence
* Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
* Understanding of ITIL-based process-driven organizations, especially change and release management
Language Proficiency
* Fluency in Dutch at European CEFR level C2 is required

* Ownership mindset with the ability to work independently and take initiative
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills
* Experience in drawing up, monitoring, and adjusting schedules and action plans
* Willingness to support testing, release activities, and knowledge sharing
* Ability to work full-time for the duration of the assignment (440 days, with possible extension)
* Remote work is possible in consultation with the team leader; occasional out-of-hours work may be required for releases
