Project Leader / Solution Designer – Banking Operations Brussels | Hybrid (up to 50% remote)

About the role
Projective Talent is looking for experienced Project Leaders / Solution Designers to support a large-scale digital transformation within the financial sector.
In this role, you will bridge business and technology — translating complex customer and business needs into functional, secure, and scalable solutions. You'll lead end-to-end delivery across analysis, design, build, and testing, ensuring that every project milestone is met with precision and quality.
Your key responsibilities
Translate business requirements into functional and technical designs that respect architecture, compliance, and security standards.
Coordinate the full project lifecycle from analysis and build to testing and deployment.
Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, IT teams, and external partners to ensure alignment.
Monitor scope, planning, and quality while anticipating risks or roadblocks.
Support systems in production and guide teams during incidents when needed.
Your profile
at least 5 years of relevant experience in IT project management or solution design.
Strong understanding of banking operations, products, and services.
Experience in payments or customer data management is an asset.
Technical knowledge of mainframe systems (Cobol, JCL, DB2, MQ) is a plus.
Cloud or hybrid architecture experience (Azure) is a welcome advantage.
Fluent in English, good command of Dutch and/or French is a plus.
