To ensure the security and integrity of company assets, including personnel, buildings, stock, and costs, while upholding core department values and promoting a culture of compliance.
This role requires a strong background in Loss Prevention and Stock Investigation, with expertise in conducting and managing Stock Audits, preparing for and facilitating audits, and providing training and guidance to audit managers.
The ideal candidate will have experience in on-site investigations, branch closure procedures, and CCTV system operation, as well as knowledge of Criminal Law and HR guidelines/procedures. They will be able to prioritize workload, ensuring that all reports and investigations are completed within set deadlines, and liaise with outside investigation agencies as necessary.
A key aspect of this role is to support and train managers and store personnel on security-related issues, providing actionable feedback and recommendations to enhance security measures and prevent losses.
In addition to their technical skills, the successful candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a close-knit team environment.
Responsibilities:
* Maintain a highly visible role in the designated area
* Ensure Stock Audits are conducted in line with company procedure
* Investigate stock losses within the territory
* Carry out on-site investigations into audit results
* Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of company CCTV systems
* Conduct Security Compliance Checklists regularly
* Support and train managers and store personnel on security issues
* Prioritize workload and complete reports and investigations within set deadlines
Requirements:
• Expertise in Profit Protection and Asset Protection
• Proficiency in conducting and managing Stock Audits
• Strong background in Loss Prevention and Stock Investigation
• Ability to prepare for and facilitate Audits
• Experience in on-site investigations and branch closure procedures
• Knowledge of CCTV systems and their operation
• Conducting regular Security Compliance Checklists with actionable feedback
• Investigative skills in internal dishonesty cases
• Up-to-date knowledge of Criminal Law and HR guidelines/procedures
