Your role and responsibilities
As Business Improvement Manager, you own the improvement agenda of the global product & procurement department. Based on the inputs from the different teams and in close collaboration with the corporate excellence centers you consolidate, summarize and monitor overall progress and performance of the department's improvement agenda.
The improvement agenda consists of initiatives cascaded from the overall TVH Strategy which is as well translated in departmental initiatives and off course performance measurement through Balanced scorecards and KPIs. Also here you and your team play a crucial role.
1. You will support/enable the strategic and organizational development of the P&P department within a dynamic and international context.
2. You will design and implement governance structures, including meeting cadences, documentation and follow-up processes.
3. Together with your teams of project coordination, performance analysis, system support, change management and training colleagues, you continuously optimize the way of working to achieve optimal results and decision making. Also in the corporate excellence centers, you share your vision and ideas to continuously improve our corporate way of working fundamentals.
4. You represent the department in cross departmental alignment on the improvement agenda’s.
5. You continuously coach your own team to keep them going and growing. You connect very well in the P&P department as well as in the corporate TVH teams to capture ideas and improvement opportunities and share vision on the ongoing initiatives. You have impact through direct and indirect influencing and networking.
6. You are part of the GPP in order to support and translate the different topics and initiatives in line with the improvement agenda, securing successful execution.

7. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to navigate complex information and ambiguity.
8. Strategic mindset with a solid understanding of market trends, business models and organizational effectiveness.
9. Clear and effective communicator across diverse stakeholder groups, both written and verbal.
10. Creative and innovative thinker, challenges the status quo and drives improvement.
11. Decisive, with sound judgment and ability to act independently when needed.
12. Interpersonally savvy, diplomatic, approachable, and credible at all levels.
13. Entrepreneurial and results-oriented with a strong sense of ownership.
14. 10+ years of relevant experience in strategy, corporate development or management consulting, ideally in an international or industrial environment.
15. Prior involvement in strategic planning or organizational design is a strong advantage.
16. Fluency in English is required, knowledge of Dutch is a big plus.
