We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Developer to expand the presence of our client in Belgium, with a strong focus on the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors. You will play a key role in identifying, engaging, and securing new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and driving revenue growth for our product portfolio. Our client is a large organisation specialised in the design and the manufacturing of sterilisation and contamination control systems for the pharmaceutical, bio-tech and food industries. They offer a wide range of portfolio: autoclaves, sterilisers, isolators and automation solutions for sterile processing They pride themselves on their innovative solutions and commitment to excellence, with a strong international presence. As a successful Business Developer Pharma - Medical Equipment - Belgium, your responsibilities are: Lead the development and the implementation of strategic sales plans in Belgium Identify and qualify new business opportunities in Belgium, specifically targeting pharmaceutical and bio tech companies, research labs, and GMP-compliant production environments. Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with existing clients & key decision-makers (e.g., Lab Managers, Procurement, QA/QC, Facility Managers, etc.) Prospect, develop, and manage a robust pipeline of potential clients through cold outreach, networking, industry events... Understand customer requirements and provide tailored solutions for their sterilisation and laboratory equipment needs. Prepare commercial offers, negotiate terms, and close deals in line with company goals and margins. Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory developments in the Belgian market to inform business strategy. Coordinate with the sales, the after sales and the marketing departments to reach business goal As a successful Business Developer Pharma - Medical Equipment - Belgium, you should have: An academic background in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field +5years of experience in B2B business development within the Pharma / Medical Equipment/ Lab Equipment or Lifesciences industry in contact with technical profiles Excellent communication, negotiation & presentation skills Technical aptitude to understand and explain complex equipment (e.g., sterilisers, autoclaves). Strong analytic skills to identify market trends and opportunities A result-oriented mindset with a passion for sales Willingness to travel frequently within Belgium.
