Role
We are looking for a Compliance Manager who is responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining information compliance controls for multiple internal compliance policies (ISO27001 ISMS, GDPR, PCI-DSS, and related standards). The goal is to ensure that the organization, processes and assets are managed in accordance with the Brussels Airlines Compliance Policy and international standards, while maintaining compliance risks as low as possible. The Manager also supports different business units in defining, implementing and maintaining a compliant organization with regard to the abovementioned policies.
Responsibilities
Support and advise internal stakeholders in the definition and implementation of compliance controls.
Coordinate and monitor the execution of the aforementioned controls.
Define, implement and manage corrective actions as needed.
Provide advice on improvements of existing controls.
Support and guide third-party suppliers and contractors in compliance matters.
Develop and maintain compliance standards including gap analyses and policy completeness.
Assist in compliance standards and procedures writing and updating, with guidance and QA support.
Develop educational programs and awareness initiatives on compliance policies for targeted groups.
Prepare, lead and participate in relevant audits and compliance verifications.
Present compliance results and remediation actions to senior management and provide KPI-based conformity reporting to internal stakeholders and monitoring bodies.
Qualifications
Bachelor degree (equivalent through experience).
Knowledge of aviation industry is a plus.
2–5 years of experience in IT / Information Security / GOPS or in a compliance environment.
Knowledge of GRC tools; good understanding of GDPR / PCI regulations and policies is a plus.
Certified ISO27001 Lead Implementer is a plus.
Experience in developing and implementing policies and/or processes (in IT).
Experience in managing and coordinating multiple stakeholders.
Experience in creating memos and reports to senior management level.
Strong knowledge of applicable regulations with focus on ISO27001; auditing and process evaluation experience.
Good knowledge of information security and risk management.
Analytical skills to understand and present complex content and end-to-end process flows and control needs.
Excellent verbal and written communication, negotiation skills and assertiveness.
Willingness to take responsibility and make objective decisions at multiple levels.
Highly organized, independent and solution-oriented; discreet and resilient under pressure.
Fluent in English; French knowledge is a plus.
