About the Role:
We’re partnering with a leading utility and infrastructure company in Belgium who are launching a major Overhead Power Line project. They’re seeking a Freelance Project Manager to lead project delivery, coordinating multidisciplinary teams and ensuring execution aligns with technical, safety, and timeline requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and coordinate all phases of the Overhead Power Line project from planning through execution.
* Oversee budgets, scheduling, and progress reporting.
* Ensure compliance with technical, safety, and environmental standards.
* Coordinate between engineering, procurement, and construction teams.
* Maintain communication with contractors, grid operators, and local authorities.
* Report project status to internal stakeholders and senior management.
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Project Manager within construction, infrastructure, or energy projects.
* Strong organizational and leadership skills.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
* Familiarity with Belgian standards and regulations is a plus.
* Experience in High Voltage (HV), Overhead Line (OHL), or Transmission projects is preferred but not essential.
* Fluency in English, French and Dutch.
* Eligible to work as a freelancer in Belgium.

* Duration: 12 months + possible extension
* Rate: Competitive, based on experience
