Energize are looking for an experienced SAP GRC/Authorizations Consultant for one of their main customers to strengthen their access governance function. This role focuses on ensuring that access to systems and data is secure, compliant, and properly aligned with business responsibilities.
About the project:
You will play a key role in safeguarding the organization’s SAP environment by managing user access, reducing segregation-of-duties risks, and supporting audit and compliance requirements.
A big part of the role involves assessing and validating access requests, maintaining the authorization matrix, reviewing conflict reports, and enforcing governance standards across the business.
You’ll also help formalize access processes for new employees, including SAP licenses and required permissions — while acting as the central point of contact for business, IT, and audit teams.
The project also includes supporting ongoing initiatives, maintaining documentation and standards, and providing insights through dashboards and reports.
* Job Requirements:Minimum 5 years’ experience in user authorizations, access controls, or governance in a complex environment (international experience preferred)
* Strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA authorization concepts
* Understanding of Segregation of Duties (SoD) rules and audit/compliance frameworks
* Analytical, detail-oriented, and able to interact with IT, business, and audit stakeholders
* Fluent in English; Dutch big plus (French is a plus)
