Roulette is a Belgian direct-to-consumer (DTC) brand with a global vision. We are here to revolutionize an outdated industry: the shopping trolley.
We believe that grocery shopping shouldn't be a chore you outsource to an app; it should be a lifestyle choice. We want to bring people back to their local shops, bakers, butchers and markets, encouraging them to cook at home and share meals with friends—and we want them to do it in style.
The Role: Your Mission
We are looking for a Co-Founder & COO to join our leadership team. We don't just need an employee; we need a partner.
After a Kickstarter campaign that reached 200% of our goal, we are ready to answer the growing demand for a US launch. We are looking for a key team member to help with this expansion into the American market while overseeing our established European operations.
You will act as the right hand and sparring partner to the CEO. While the CEO focuses on Product, Vision, and Finance, you will be the Operator who ensures the business functions flawlessly.
Key Responsibilities
1. Product & Operations (The Backbone)
* Supply Chain Command: Manage the end-to-end flow of goods from manufacturers (Asia) to our 3PL (Belgium) and to the customer. You own the logistics relationships.
* Inventory & Planning: Handle demand forecasting and stock management to ensure unit economics are healthy.
* Product Development: Oversee the operational side of the V2 roadmap once the product rolls off the production line, managing timelines and quality control with suppliers.
2. E-Commerce & Technology (The Digital Storefront)
* Shopify Ownership: Manage the Shopify backend, ensuring product pages, pricing, and apps are functioning perfectly.
* Tech Stack: You will set up and maintain our ERP (e.g., Odoo) and ensure all systems (email marketing, logistics, accounting) integrate smoothly with our e-commerce front end.
3. Customer Experience (The Voice)
* Support Management: You will handle customer inquiries and set up the systems (Helpdesk/FAQs) to make support scalable.
* Feedback Loops: Aggregate customer insights to help us improve the product and the buying experience.
4. Commercial Growth (The Scale)
* B2B Sales: Develop and execute the strategy to get Roulette into premium physical retail stores across Europe.
* International Expansion: Work with the CEO to prepare the logistics, legal, and operational framework for our entry into the US market.
Who You Are
* A builder & Real entrepreneur: You have a strong entrepreneurial mindset. Whether experienced or a hungry first-timer, you treat the business as your own.
* Tech-Savvy: You are comfortable configuring Shopify, setting up an ERP, or debugging a 3PL integration.
* A "Can-Do" Executor: You don't wait for permission. You see a problem, and you fix it. You have a high standard of execution—"good enough" is not in your vocabulary; you deliver perfectly.
* Ideally based in Belgium: While we sell pan-European, proximity to our home market and our 3PL is a major plus.
