Job description
We are currently seeking a skilled Medical Writer to take the lead in the preparation and submission of a study manuscript related to our Local Data Generation Study in Hypercholesterolemia.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Medical Writer, you will be responsible for:
1. Medical Writing:
o Lead the writing of a study manuscript/publication based on the Clinical Study Report (CSR) of our retrospective study utilizing a pharmacy database. The CSR will be available from mid-November to early December 2025.
o Most content will be derived from the study protocol and CSR, with occasional literature searches as needed.
2. Manuscript Submission:
o Submit the manuscript to targeted peer-reviewed journals and manage necessary follow-ups during the revision process until the manuscript is accepted
Language Proficiency:
* Excellent writing skills in English are required.
Background/Education:
* A degree in a scientific field such as Biology, Pharmacy, Medicine, or Biomedical Sciences.
Experience:
* Minimum of 3 years in medical writing; more experience is highly valued.
* Proven writing experience with clinical documents and/or publications (articles, abstracts, summaries, etc.), preferably with a focus on retrospective studies using a pharmacy database.
* Familiarity with interpreting clinical study reports and protocols.
* Ability to communicate scientific or medical information clearly and concisely.
* Experience with manuscript submissions to peer-reviewed journals, including leading revisions and/or resubmissions.
* Experience in the field of hypercholesterolemia/atherosclerosis is desirable.
Specific Skills:
* Familiarity with hypercholesterolemia/atherosclerosis.
* Ability to perform limited literature searches.
* Strong organizational skills with a track record of delivering on time.
* Excellent collaboration skills and a proactive attitude.
