Amazon Web Services (AWS) is looking for a Solutions Architect to partner with customers and AWS teams to design scalable, flexible, and resilient cloud architectures that address customer business problems. The role involves advising on best practices, building cloud solutions, and helping customers migrate workloads to AWS.
Key job responsibilities
* Build a strong foundation of knowledge around AWS cloud services and the cloud ecosystem;
* Educate customers of all sizes on the value proposition of AWS;
* Assist with training sessions for customers considering or already using AWS;
* Collaborate with experienced solutions architects to craft and share best‑practice knowledge amongst the AWS solutions architect community;
* Act as a technical liaison between customers, service engineering teams and support.

You will help identify areas of existing architectural collateral that are incorrect or need updating in order to ensure customers can create world‑class solutions built on AWS.
Basic Qualifications
* Experience with one of the following programming languages: Python, Ruby, Node.js, C#, or C++;
* Experience with two or more of the following: networking fundamentals, security, storage or databases (relational or NoSQL), operating systems (Unix, Linux, or Windows);
* Experience in oral and written communication in English.
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience implementing a cloud‑based technology solution;
* Experience in any of the following: Cloud Architecture, Systems Design, Software Development, Infrastructure Architecture, Data Engineering or DevOps.
