ARHS Group is looking for an experienced SAP MM Consultant to support its procurement transformation and the Greenfield migration from SAP ECC to S/4HANA
In this context, multiple procurement processes have already been documented, and several improvements have been implemented within SAP ECC.
Be part of a migration
from SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA, aiming to define a future‑proof target architecture.
The mission aims to actively contribute to:
* The implementation of procurement process improvements in SAP ECC
* The functional design and strategic reflection supporting the Greenfield migration to SAP S/4HANA
The Senior / Expert SAP MM Consultant will work closely with business and IT stakeholders to ensure coherence between the current ECC solution and the future S/4HANA landscape.
Key Responsibilities
Process & Business Support
* Support and challenge key users in the optimization of procurement processes and organizational set‑up
* Design, optimize, and secure Procure‑to‑Pay (P2P) processes, including internal control mechanisms
* Act as a functional reference for buyers and requesters
* Design and configure SAP MM flows (3‑way match, FI integration, etc.) aligned with target processes
* Gather business requirements, write functional specifications, and lead functional validation
* Ensure coherence between MM, Inventory Management, and FI
Transformation & Projects
* Participate in and contribute to workshops within Project to define a shared ECC / S/4HANA vision
* Support a holistic approach to ensure a smooth future migration to S/4HANA
* Contribute to procurement governance: roles definition, authorisations, documentation, and training
* Participate in or lead projects impacting procurement (Procurement Transformation Program, S/4HANA migration, third‑party integrations, Peppol with FI, coordination with warehouses and IT)
Scope of the Mission
The mission covers:
* End‑to‑end P2P process design and optimisation
* SAP MM configuration and functional evolutions
* Business support and continuous improvement initiatives
* Governance and integration within a multi‑system landscape (ECC current / S/4HANA target)
Deliverables will be defined by the Procurement Transformation Program Manager and may include:
* Functional specifications or user stories (MM evolutions)
* Interface, form, report, and enhancement documentation
* Test scenarios and test execution documentation
Requirements
Experience
* Senior or Expert SAP MM Consultant
* Solid hands‑on experience with SAP ECC (R/3) and SAP S/4HANA
Functional SAP MM Skills
* Strong mastery of procurement and logistics processes: PR, PO, Goods Receipt, Inventory Management, Invoicing, FI/CO and PM integration
* In‑depth understanding of purchasing organisations, document types, release strategies, MRP, contracts, info records
ECC & S/4HANA Specific Knowledge
SAP ECC (R/3)
* SPRO MM configuration, messaging, IDocs, pricing, outputs, batch input, LSMW
* Good understanding of legacy limitations and historical workarounds
SAP S/4HANA
* Knowledge of key innovations and breaks: Business Partner, Fiori, simplified data model, flexible workflows
* CDS views, embedded analytics, changes in MM transactions and obsolete codes
