Amaris Consulting is looking for a curious and motivated Business Analyst to join our team in Brussels as part of the VIE program. You’ll play a key role in bridging business needs with technical teams while gaining hands‑on experience on exciting digital transformation projects across sectors such as banking, insurance, public, or the energy domain.
Responsibilities
* Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements through workshops, interviews, and meetings.
* Translate business needs into clear specifications or user stories for development teams.
* Support process mapping and optimization using tools like BPMN or UML.
* Participate in test phases, helping define test cases and support user acceptance testing (UAT).
* Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and ensure alignment between business and IT.
* Maintain project documentation and ensure traceability across requirements and deliverables.
* Contribute to the delivery of high‑quality, scalable, and user‑focused solutions.
* Gain exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies and participate in sprint rituals.
Qualifications
* You are eligible for the VIE program and willing to relocate to Brussels.
* You hold a Master’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
* First internship or work experience in a Business Analyst or IT consulting environment is a plus.
* Strong interest in digital transformation, system analysis, and process improvement.
* Familiarity with Agile methodologies, functional documentation, and analytical frameworks.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact with both business and IT teams.
* You speak English and French fluently (both written and spoken) – mandatory.
