About the Role:
We are looking for a Business Intelligence Engineer with strong experience in Power BI, SQL, and Data Warehouse (DWH) development. You will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable BI solutions that support data-driven decision-making across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design and develop interactive Power BI dashboards and reports.
* Write efficient SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and reporting.
* Develop and optimize data models for analytics, using best practices.
* Design and implement DWH architectures, including Star Schema, Kimball, and Data Vault methodologies.
* Work closely with data analysts, business users, and other developers to understand requirements and deliver insights.
Requirements:
* Solid experience with Power BI (reporting, DAX, data modeling).
* Fluent in English and Dutch (both written and spoken).
* Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
* Proven experience in Data Warehouse development and ETL processes.
* Hands-on knowledge of data modeling techniques and standards.
* Familiarity with Kimball, Star Schema, and Data Vault 2.0.
* Good communication and collaboration skills.
Nice to Have:
* Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP).
* Knowledge of Python or other scripting languages for data work.
* Background in data governance or data quality frameworks.
