For our division Flooring in Wielsbeke we’re looking for a Global FP&A Manager.
The purpose of this position is to manage the financial planning and analysis processes that are part of the management control cycle of the Flooring division. The primary objective is to support senior management with accurate and timely financial information in order to implement the group’s growth strategy. Be the best in class finance function, pro-actively providing actionable information by developing and empowering the finance team.
Principal responsibilities
1. Oversees the monthly / quarterly analysis of the division’s performance. Take part in and aid in improving the monthly consolidation and closing process.Participate, coordinate, validate and consolidate integral variance analysis anticipating management’s evolving needs.Provide senior management with key insights on financial performance.
2. Analyzes and directs marketing, advertising and sample expenditure on the divisional level.
3. Coordinates day-to-day financial information and reporting Unilin with Unilin Group Finance.
4. Ensure compliance with USGAAP & SOx and strengthens the internal control framework of the division.
5. Key leadership role in the financial planning processes at the level of the division in close cooperation with the local organizations.Translate business plans into financial modelsParticipate, coordinate, validate and consolidate the annual operating planLead the monthly rolling forecast process and ensure forecast reliability
6. Lead a team of data & analytics experts to maintain best-in-class financial reporting.
7. Drive continuous improvement in financial processes and reporting.
8. Actively involved in strategic and finance projects such as M&A, implementation of new systems/tools/technologies, etc.
Who are you?
9. You have a Master’s degree and 5 to 8 years of relevant experience within FP&A or business controlling, preferably in an international and industrial business environment.
10. Experience with FP&A management, including leading a team, is a big asset.
11. You have experience with integrated corporate financial systems, reporting tools, spreadsheets and data base management systems. Knowledge of SAP and business intelligence tools is an asset. US GAAP or IFRS knowledge is required.
12. You have strong analytical and problem solving skills. You work accurately and are attentive to detail. You have a can-do attitude.
13. You have strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and assertively at all levels of the organization, including executive leadership.
14. You are able to work under pressure and comply with strict deadlines. You are disciplined and organized, and able to prioritize.
