Robert Half Talent Solutions is currently looking for a Chief Financial Officer (m/f/x) for a permanent position based in Lennik & Ath.
Our client is a fast growing company active in the retail sector.
As Chief Financial Officer (m/f/x) you will be responsible for:
* Lead and shape the optimal structure for the finance team, including hiring and training initiatives to enhance team capabilities;
* Establish clear roles and responsibilities within the finance team and set up basic processes to ensure efficiency and accountability;
* Develop reporting frameworks and key performance indicators (KPls) to improve insights into the company's financial health and facilitate data-driven decision-making;
* Coach your team members so that they can keep learning and growing.
* Participate in the executive team for strategic planning, contributing financial insights to shape long-term business goals and organizational strategies;
* Lead initiatives for cost and revenue optimization, identifying opportunities for sustainable growth and efficiency improvements;
* Oversee the implementation of a quarterly budgeting system and provide guidance for cash planning within the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) cycle.
* Contribute to the digital transformation steering committee, guiding the blueprint for various digital initiatives such as Warehouse Management System (WMS), ERP, and Webshop;
* Be a leader in guiding the design, construction, and deployment phases of the digital transformation journey, fostering effective change management and capitalizing on opportunities for improvement.
* Develop robust financial business models to facilitate optimal organizational structure;
* Establish a vision for centralization and decentralization to enhance operational and financial efficiency.
* Evaluate and strategize the allocation of financial resources, including internalfunds, debt and equity;
* Explore opportunities for strategic partnerships to support accelerated growth and expand market presence.
The required profile for the Chief Financial Officer (m/f/x) position:
* Master degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field;
* Proven experience in a senior financial leadership role, ideally as a CFO or Finance Director, with a track record of driving strategic initiatives and operational excellence;
* Strong understanding of financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting;
* Experience leading digital transformation initiatives and implementing ERP systems is highly desirable;
* Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and influence key stakeholders;
* Fluent in Dutch or French (mastering bath languages is a great plus), and fluent in English;
* Ability to combine strategic projects and hands-on operational work and keep a healthy balance between the two.
