This is your opportunity to join Deloitte’s leading and fast-growing Debt & Capital Advisory (“DCA”) team as a (Senior) Manager:
* You work in a team that specializes in providing unique and independent debt & capital advice on the wide range of complex and strategic financing challenges our clients active in the real estate and property sector are facing.
* Your role within this team is to help to grow our real estate debt & capital advisory business which is seeing tremendous growth in the current market context.
In your job you will:
* Assist real estate clients (e.g., developers, investors, private equity, construction companies, or even corporates) in achieving their funding objectives through a wide range of debt engagements, including advising on optimal capital structures, funding diversification, development financing, real estate fund financing, acquisition financing, leasing, and propco/opco structures.
* Maintain and manage constant interaction with our real estate clients, banks, other real estate lenders & debt funds, and their advisors.
* Actively participate in business development efforts to grow our real estate debt advisory business.
* Work with deal teams to execute and implement projects.
* Collaborate closely with colleagues within Deloitte’s global Debt & Capital Advisory network.
Daily activities include:
* Developing, originating, and executing real estate-related debt advisory transactions through research and leveraging existing relationships and networks.
* Working on a range of debt advisory projects, focusing on real estate developers, investors, private equity, construction companies, or corporates, while expanding your network.
* Managing daily project tasks, preparing information packs, management presentations, financial analyses, and client communications.
* Coaching and guiding junior team members during transactions.
* Playing a client-facing role from origination to deal closing.
* Contributing to the development of the DCA department and taking ownership of growth initiatives.
* Bringing market eminence through technical expertise and insights on debt market trends.
A development plan will be created to support your progression within our growing debt advisory practice. You will be an active member of Deloitte’s market-leading Real Estate sector team.
Let’s talk about you
* You hold a university degree.
* You have 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in real estate debt financing with a bank, consulting firm, broker, investor, developer, or equivalent.
* You possess strong commercial acumen and understanding of financial markets and debt products relevant to real estate lending.
* You have the right mindset, entrepreneurial spirit, analytical skills, and a client-focused, solutions-oriented approach.
* You demonstrate project management, leadership, and organizational skills.
* You are confident and eager to engage in business development activities.
* You are a dedicated team player with excellent communication skills.
* You are fluent in Dutch, French, and English.
