JOB PURPOSE The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of the Anthony Martin Group will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial vision and driving sustainable growth across a family-owned group of companies engaged in the production and distribution of beverages.
The CFO will ensure the financial strength of the organization by aligning financial objectives with commercial and operational strategies. This role involves developing and implementing robust financial policies, optimizing cost structures, and safeguarding profitability in a highly competitive market.
Key responsibilities include overseeing cash flow management, budgeting, financial planning, and regulatory compliance, while supporting strategic decisions related to investments, international expansion, and overall performance. By ensuring transparency and reliability in financial reporting, the CFO will position the Anthony Martin Group as a resilient and innovative leader in the beverage industry.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Financial Leadership: Oversee all financial operations, including accounting and controlling for all group entities
Credit Management: Manage credit risk and optimize cash flow across the group
Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate financial and operational risks
IT Department Oversight: Lead and supervise the IT department, ensuring systems support business needs
HR Supervision: Oversee HR processes
Team Management: Direct and develop the Finance and IT teams (8 people), fostering collaboration and growth
Stakeholder Relations: Build and maintain long-term relationships with internal (CEO, management committees) and external partners (banks, auditors, ERP providers, insurance brokers, etc.)
Performance Monitoring: Track key indicators such as consolidated cash flow, budget management, and tax compliance
KEY SKILLS
Hands-on leader: Ability to supervise, mentor, and develop team members, driving continuous improvement and performance
Communication: Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with various stakeholders (internal and external)
Strategic vision: Ability to anticipate and interpret changes in business needs
Negotiation: Ability to establish advantageous agreements with business partners
PROFILE REQUIRED
Education: Master’s degree in Finance, with practical experience in accounting
Experience: At least 15 years in a financial department, ideally within a family-owned business in the FMCG industry
Languages: Fluent in French, Dutch and English
Tools: Familiarity with Office, Navision, Power BI, Kluwer, Graydon, Atradius, etc.
