Project Manager Scada & Control Systems Job Description
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead our Grid Software projects from design phase to execution. As a technical specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the correct monitoring of our projects and driving them forward with high-quality results.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and manage projects for Utility/Energy/Industry customers, focusing on creating control and supervision systems (SCADA) for high and medium voltage electrical networks.
* Ensure end-responsibility for large-scale projects in terms of costs, deadlines, and quality.
* Set up project execution teams using waterfall/Agile modes and accompany technical project and management teams in transitioning towards Agile Project Management.
* Translate customer needs into project realizations with a focus on IT requirements.
* Assemble project teams tailored to the needs of the project and the customer.
Requirements
* A Master's degree in Electrical, Electromechanical, or Computer Science engineering.
* At least 5 years of Project Management experience and first-hand experience implementing an Agile methodology.
* Familiarity with SCADA concepts and implementation.
* Good understanding of OT within an industrial environment.
* Previous experience in an IT/software environment is highly advantageous.
* Interest/knowledge in databases, their management, and interfaces with various IT applications is an asset.
* Knowledge of electrical transmission and distribution is an asset.
* Flexibility and willingness to travel abroad.
* Fluency in French and English; Dutch is an asset.
