Ph3Head of Product Managers - Global Construction Equipment -Flemish Brabant /h3 h3Function /h3 pYour mission is to maximise, together with your team of Product Managers, the profitability of your product range (sales and rental) and market share. Contribution to the '4 P's': /p pbProduct : /b /p ul liAs an expert in the product range assigned to you, you will naturally keep abreast of the brand's new products and latest innovations. /li liYou study market trends in the engineering machinery sector as well as current and future customer needs. Through your analysis, you determine the configurations of the machines you intend to launch on the market. /li liYou follow training courses at the manufacturer's and share your knowledge with your sales team. When a new product is launched, you ensure that all the information (positioning, configuration, performance and price) is passed on to the right people. /li liYou provide technical and commercial support to sales staff and internal and external customers. /li liYou do everything possible to become (together with your team) the expert in GCI (Global Construction Infrastructure). /li liYou negotiate for the current and future product ranges for which you are responsible, the objectives to be achieved, the strategies to be applied, etc. /li liYou negotiate and determine the prices for your different sales channels (vendors, direct customers). /li /ul pbPlace : /b /p pYou are co-responsible for distribution on a national level. This means that you follow up on orders, keep an eye on available stock and monitor delivery times. On the basis of this information, the sales history and the business plan, you give sound advice on placing stock orders in collaboration with our Supply Team. /p pbPromotion : /b /p ul liYou set up marketing campaigns in collaboration with the Customer Experience Team. /li liYou put your expertise at the service of external and internal customers during demonstrations, comparative tests, events, etc. /li liIn addition, these tasks are part of your daily routine: /li liYou are the first point of contact for everything that concerns GCI retail rental. /li liAnalysis of progress, as well as points for improvement during business reviews (monthly and quarterly) with Caterpillar. /li liAd hoc participation in leadership table discussions with headquarters. /li liPermanent monitoring of the go-to-market strategy and you inform the Marketing and Sales teams of changes concerning: the market, the market approach, the competition. /li liYou are the link between GCI marketing and the after-sales service of technology, connectivity Customer Value Agreements (CVA). /li liYou will personally manage at least 1 product range to keep your product management skills sharp. /li liThe implementation of the smooth integration of Work Tools in your business unit. /li liRegular consultation with the Supply Chain Manager and the various managers in your department. /li /ul h3Profile /h3 pYou are a marketing expert with a passion for technique and state-of-the-art technology. You are assertive and a good communicator. Your coherent vision of the future of your job, your product range, your strategy goes hand in hand with a power of persuasion: /p ul liA bachelor's degree in marketing or in a technical field (e.g. Automotive), or equivalent by experience. /li liA good knowledge of MS Office 365 and a first experience in Salesforce is a plus. /li liMin. 5 years experience in a similar function in a sales and/or marketing environment. /li liTechnical training (e.g. mechanics) is a plus. /li liYou are bilingual NL/FR + good command of English. /li liYou have a strong affinity with civil engineering machinery. /li liYou know how to analyse and interpret sales figures and trends. /li liYou are customer-oriented. /li liYou have a strong commercial attitude + persuasive power. /li liQuickly build up a network of professional contacts (internal and external). /li liCommunicate professionally with various partners (Caterpillar, customers, technicians, suppliers, etc.), even in difficult circumstances. /li liHave an analytical mind. /li liBeing a strategic thinker. /li liBeing an expert in Excel. /li /ul h3Our customer /h3 pOur client is one of the international leaders in the heavy construction and mining equipment. /p h3Offer /h3 pOur client offers a varied and challenging function with a lot of room for initiative and personal development within a healthy organisation.
