We are looking for a Global Data Liaison who is innovative, collaborative, and results-driven to join us in our Global Data Acquisition team, based in our headquarters in Brussels, Belgium.
About The Role
As a Global Data Liaison, you will drive UCB’s access to key external healthcare data sources. You’ll be the organization’s Ex-US navigator for real-world data and other critical external datasets to drive insights across real-world evidence, commercial, R&D, HEOR, market access teams and more. You will evaluate and onboard data assets, ensuring they align with UCB’s biopharmaceutical development and commercialization goals. You’ll build and manage relationships with existing data providers and stay ahead of emerging data types like genomic, biomarker, and digital health data.
Who You’ll Work With
You will be working in a dynamic, cross-functional team within the Global Data Acquisition Strategy Team, collaborating with colleagues in IT, the Data Office, external data providers, and key business units. Together, you'll ensure that UCB leverages the best data solutions available to maximize business impact.
What You’ll Do
* Lead discovery work in identifying new patient level data sets and partnerships
* Evaluate and onboard patient-level data assets from external providers to meet UCB’s needs.
* Maintain strong relationships with healthcare data providers globally.
* Conduct landscape scanning to identify evolving data sources and trends.
* Educate the business on current and future data capabilities in the data ecosystem
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders to operationalize data solutions and experiments.
Interested? For this role we’re looking for the following education, experience, and skills:
* Master’s or Doctoral degree in a quantitative field preferred or equivalent by experience.
* Minimum of 5-7 years of experience with pharmaceutical or healthcare data and data acquisition.
* Expertise in healthcare data, including patient-level administrative data (healthcare claims) and healthcare provider data.
* Proven ability to work with internal and external stakeholders to meet business needs.
* Vendor management (either through sales or purchasing)
* Ability to research and learn new topic areas
* Knowledge of data contracting, compliance, and governance.
* Creative problem-solving skills with a results-oriented mindset.
