Business Development Manager Isotank Transportation
Location: Belgium, Netherlands, or Spain
About the Role
Our client is an international logistics company specializing in isotank container transportation. As part of their European expansion, they are looking for a Business Development Manager to strengthen their presence in Belgium, the Netherlands or the United Kingdom.
The role requires a seasoned sales professional with a proven track record in isotank or liquid bulk logistics, capable of driving growth, securing new clients, and expanding business opportunities in these markets.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and execute a sales strategy to acquire new customers in isotank transportation across the assigned region.
* Identify and evaluate new business opportunities in chemical, petrochemical, and related industries.
* Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service agreements to maximize profitability and customer satisfaction.
* Collaborate with internal operations and customer service teams to deliver solutions tailored to client needs.
* Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and market developments to provide insights and strategies.
* Meet and exceed defined sales and business development targets.
Requirements
* Bachelors degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related discipline
* Minimum 5 years of direct sales experience in isotank transportation or liquid bulk logistics.
* Established client network in Belgium, the Netherlands, or United Kingdom highly desirable.
* Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
* Self-driven, proactive, and able to work independently.
* Fluency in English; additional European languages (Dutch, French) are an advantage.
* Willingness to travel regularly within the assigned market.
